ON THE LOOKOUT FOR

OUR IDEAL PARTNERS

Tending Flags has the mission of creating excitement around fundraising for nonprofits. While the bigger nonprofits are well known and well supported, it is a grind for most of you. We envision working with nonprofits who don't have a huge paid staff, millions of dollars in funding, and are just trying to put time into their work. If that sounds like you, then lets have a conversation about what Tending Flags can help you achieve.

Not The Right Fit

We understand that we may not be the best match for every nonprofit.  Our goal is to help as many nonprofits as we can. As a catalyst for fundraising, we take that very seriously.  Tending Flags will respectfully decline any nonprofits that don’t meet our eligibility standards.

  • Organizations that discriminate based on race, ethnicity, gender, disability, sexual orientation, age or that employ any exclusionary practices.
  • Organizations that have lost their tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service.
  • Organizations who intend to misrepresent or divert funds from the tournament to other interests.

Tending Flags will be happy to work with any nonprofit that meets our eligibility standards.  While most of our partners will be classified as 501(3)(c), we will also discuss opportunities with groups from the following designations.

  • 501(c)(6)
  • 501(c)(7)
  • 501(c)(7)
  • 501(c)(17)
  • 501(c)(19)
  • 501(k)

At Tending Flags, we are dedicated to thoroughly researching your nonprofit organization to gain a comprehensive understanding of your mission and to determine if you meet our eligibility requirements. Our goal is to support your fundraising efforts effectively, and this process involves engaging in meaningful conversations with your team. Through these interactions, we will get to know each other better and develop a customized strategy that best aligns with your organization’s goals and needs. By comprehending your mission, we can ensure that our collaboration is optimized to achieve the desired outcomes for your nonprofit.

At Tending Flags, transparency is a core value that we uphold rigorously. We believe that transparency is a two-way street, where open and honest communication is essential from both parties involved.

If, at any point, you suspect that there may be an issue that could potentially violate any of Tending Flag’s policies, we strongly encourage you to come forward and discuss it with us candidly. Timely reporting of such concerns allows us to address them promptly and appropriately.

During the tournament management process, Tending Flags diligently monitors for any information that may infringe upon our established rules and regulations. In the unfortunate event that we identify any violations, we may find it necessary to cancel the tournament. Additionally, your nonprofit organization might be subject to associated fees.

To prevent any disruptions and adverse consequences, we earnestly request that you adopt best practices by being forthright and transparent with us. Openly communicating any potential issues will enable us to work together towards resolving them effectively and maintaining the integrity of our tournaments.

Our mutual commitment to transparency fosters a positive environment and ensures a fair and enjoyable experience for all participants involved. Thank you for your cooperation and dedication to upholding these principles.

If you have any concerns or questions about our transparency policy, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team.
